SeaQuench Ale is a German-style Gose brewed by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, and for the purposes of this craft beer review, the ale was served in a tulip pint glass from a can.
The ale pours a cloudy straw color with a thick head of white foam that offers modest retention.
The aroma has a scent of lime and coriander.
The palate features juicy lime spiced with coriander, sea salt, and pepper. Finishes dry and tart with lime juice. A base of wheat bread ties the palate together.
Its feel is light and smooth with low carbonation.
Overall, the SeaQuench Ale’s blend of styles produces an ale that’s not too sour, and quite easy to tilt back. It makes for a nice thirst quencher for hot summer days at the beach.
Dogfish Head recommends the following food pairings with their SeaQuench Ale: goat cheese, seafood, steamed mussels, raw oysters, and grilled chicken.
