Cold Brew 2.0 is an American Blonde Ale brewed by Rogue Ales, and for the purposes of this craft beer review, the ale was served in a pilsener glass from a can.

The Blonde pours a crystal-clear marigold and is topped by an inch-thick cap of frothy white foam that shows modest retention. A few droplets of residue cling to the sides and a thin collar rounds the glass. Ample effervescence and a fine sediment are visible in the glass.

The aroma isn’t particularly strong but does have a pleasant scent of coffee. It’s backed by a note of bready malt.

The palate opens with toasted bread that bitters with a mild coffee roast and light floral hops. The bitterness is countered by just a note of chocolate sweetness. Doughy bread ties the palate together.

Its medium body is crisp with nearly high carbonation. A relatively smooth draw becomes grainy on the backend. Slightly dry.

Its appearance is satisfactory. Perhaps the aroma could be stronger but it is nice. Its feel is perfect for the style and serves this coffee-flavored brew quite well. And speaking of coffee flavor, its use isn’t overpowering and Cold Brew 2.0 still retains plenty of its malty goodness. This clean brew is light, dry, effervescent, and easily crushed. It’s definitely a must try.
