Bimini Twist IPA is an American IPA brewed by 3 Daughters Brewing, and for the purposes of this craft beer review, the ale was served in a tulip pint glass from a can.
The IPA pours a cloudy copper and is topped by an inch-thick cap of ivory-white foam that shows fair retention. Patches of sticky lace cling to the sides following the reduction.
The aroma is predominantly is floral and piney with sweet notes of caramel and biscuit.
The palate follows the nose with a taste of floral and piney hops with grapefruit citrus; balanced by caramel and biscuit malt.
Its feel is slick with a medium body and moderate carbonation.
The Bimini Twist IPA offers plenty of bite for the hopheads but is also well balanced with its hefty malt backbone. A solid representation of the style.
